A Quick Note

Hey guys! The sun is out, and more people are out on the sidewalks. We’ve had SEVERAL people note that they’ve almost been hit by vehicles NOT LOOKING when they back out of their driveways. Please use common sense and caution when operating your vehicle. We don’t want any accidents, and we don’t want any altercations of any kind.

Secondly, the community yard sale is next Saturday, May 21. Be aware of more traffic through our community during this event.

Rivers Edge Circle Manhole Cover Issue

As you are all aware, there are several manhole covers that are driven over daily by all of us  on Rivers Edge Circle. There is one located around 100 Rivers Edge Circle that has a loose cover. A resident stopped earlier today (May 9, 2016) when he noticed the cover was popped up. He replaced the cover but noted that the cover was not secure and that any pressure would cause the cover to be loose again. Bob was notified, and the proper channels were taken. Metro Sewer Authority has been informed about he manhole cover situation and should be addressing it shortly. Until then, be sure to take caution and if you see this cover dislodged, be aware when walking, driving, and riding bikes.

As of today the pool is open for the season! We still have a few minor repairs to complete, (loose stones, bathroom leak, conduit removal), an umbrella being fixed and an ongoing pool stain cleansing project. None of which will affect the use of the pool.

Also remember the simple rules…NO GLASS at anytime…for any reason!
NO SMOKING inside or within 15 feet of the pool enclosure!
NO PETS inside the pool enclosure!
Also observe the posted DHEC Pool Rules signage.
Remember that the pool is for the community’s enjoyment which includes the little ones!
When small children are present, please be mindful of your activities so they can enjoy the pool too! Unruly behavior, fighting and use of vulgar language is unacceptable. Verified complaints can lead to a suspension of pool privileges.

As far as the umbrellas are concerned…please, please, please crank them down when you leave the pool area, this will help save us costly repair or replacement fees, by preventing wind & storm damage to the splines.

For new members to the community I will be supplying access cards in the coming days. If you have need of a card or lost your original please contact me! There is a $5.00 fee for replacement of lost cards.

Finally…remember that the use of the pool is a privilege for community members in good standing. Those who have paid their dues or are in the completion stages of honoring their payment plans may enjoy the pool. All past due members at this point will have their cards disabled, known past due members granted access to the pool by unwitting members will be asked to leave, please avoid this potentially embarrassing situation…meet your commitment!
